With the new VIPER-GPU supercomputer of the MPG which employs a large number of AMD MI300A GPUs, the MPCDF in collaboration with AMD and Eviden offers an online course on this new architecture in combination with a hackathon where existing GPU codes can be ported to the MI300A together with the experts from the MPCDF, AMD and Eviden. This is a follow-up workshop to the one given end of 2024. This time we will entirely work on VIPER-GPU, employing the software stack there and run the codes on the hackathon's reservation on VIPER-GPU.
